The caregivers and staff on the Inpatient Rehab Unit at Doctors Hospital gave me back my life. When my leg was suddenly amputated due to an acute medical condition, I wasn’t sure how to go on living. I was brought to Doctors and my entire experience on the Inpatient Rehab Unit was a positive one. They took the time to teach me the necessary daily skills I would need, and challenged me when I needed to be challenged. When I was discharged, I was able to go home and live independently and that’s what I wanted most. I’m now living each day to its fullest!
