Our orthopedic program
Our orthopedic surgeons and doctors work with you, your primary physician and many subspecialists — such as hand doctors and foot surgeons — to provide personalized care. We combine the clinical expertise of our orthopedic specialists with a compassionate, caring treatment philosophy to create a program known for its quality of care.
Advanced spinal fusion surgery
We use a leading-edge, minimally invasive approach called extreme lateral interbody fusion (XLIF) to treat disc degeneration, compression fractures and cervical artificial disk surgeries. Unlike traditional back surgery, the XLIF surgery accesses the spine laterally through your side. This approach avoids disrupting major muscles and tissues in the back, which is often required for traditional surgery.
Additionally, with the XLIF procedure, the incisions are much smaller than those made during traditional back surgeries. The surgeon accesses the spine through smaller incisions compared to those used in traditional back surgery. This can result in shorter hospital stays and recovery times.
Joint replacement
We are certified by The Joint Commission for knee and hip replacements, exemplifying our surgeons' expertise and our use of advanced technology in performing these procedures.
We strive to use the least invasive method possible, but orthopedic surgery is sometimes the best choice. Joint replacement surgery is often the most effective method to treat chronic joint pain and debilitating conditions.
During a joint replacement, an orthopedic surgeon removes parts of a damaged or arthritic joint and replaces those parts with a prosthesis, or artificial joint. Our joint replacement specialists offer a wide range of joint replacement procedures, including:
- Cervical artificial disc replacement (ADR)
- Elbow replacement
- Hip replacement (anterior and posterior approaches)
- Total and partial knee replacement
- Total and reverse shoulder replacement
- Total ankle replacement
In addition to joint replacement procedures, we offer preoperative total joint and spine education classes to help you prepare for surgery.
Hand and upper extremity treatment
The intricate anatomy of the arm and hand requires delicate surgery that often uses microscopic techniques. The technical complexity of these surgeries necessitates a level of expertise by therapists with advanced skills in upper quarter rehabilitation during postoperative recovery.

We are committed to providing compassionate care and services to help you regain maximum hand function. As the only healthcare facility in the area with certified hand therapists, we offer leading treatment techniques and highly effective care for hand injuries and diseases, as well as postsurgical hand therapy.
