Imaging services we offer

Our team offers access to an array of tests, including:

  • Barium enema — Uses X-ray and nuclear medicine techniques to capture images of the colon
  • Bone densitometry, or dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scans — Uses X-rays to measure bone density
  • Cardiopulmonary exercise testing or CPET — Analyzes cardiac and pulmonary function during exercise
  • Echocardiogram — Visualizes the heart's movement using a specialized ultrasound
  • Electrocardiogram — Measures electrical activity in the heart
  • Holter monitoring — Continuously records the heart's electrical activity for a prolonged time period
  • Pulmonary function testing — Measures the efficiency of the lungs
  • Computerized tomography (CT) scans — Combines multiple X-rays taken from different angles, allowing for a highly detailed view inside the body
  • Digital mammograms — Uses X-ray imaging and computer technology to generate highly detailed images of the breast
  • Electroencephalogram (EEG) — Records brain wave activity with neurological imaging
  • Endoscopy services — Uses a long, thin tube for the internal visualization of organs and structures
  • Intravenous pyelogram (IVP) — Uses X-ray technology and a contrast agent to view urinary organs
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) — Uses strong magnetic fields to generate images of bodily structures, tissues and functions
  • Nuclear medicine — Uses a radiotracer with very small amounts of radioactive material and advanced imaging technology to visualize the function and structure of organs
  • Positron emission tomography (PET) — Uses nuclear medicine to assess an organ's structure and function
  • Ultrasounds — Uses high-frequency sound waves that bounce off structures in the body to create an image
  • Upper gastrointestinal (GI) series — Uses a contrast agent to visualize the upper GI tract via X-ray
  • X-rays — Uses a small amount of radiation to produce images of bodily structures

It may take more than imaging procedures to form a diagnosis. That's why we also have an on-site full-service diagnostic laboratory (lab) where you can go for lab work such as blood draws and urinalysis.

Dedicated women's imaging center

The Women's Diagnostic Center, located within the hospital, is committed to excellence in breast imaging and the early detection of breast cancer. In addition to mammography services, we offer screenings for osteoporosis. Our dedicated imaging center offers:

  • Bone densitometry
  • Breast MRI

GI diagnosis through endoscopy

When traditional imaging is not enough to confirm a diagnosis, your doctor may suggest a minimally invasive endoscopic procedure. Endoscopies can be helpful when we need to diagnose and treat your GI diseases.
